Thrilled to share the incredible work of Rutgers–Newark Supply Chain Management students Sanya Rao, Ub Akpan, and Theodora Hoegah, who partnered with Inter IKEA Group on an independent research project assessing water security in their supply chain. This first-of-its-kind project, completed over the summer, blended academic insight and industry expertise to explore how organizations can identify risks, strengthen sustainability strategies, and ensure long-term resilience in global supply networks. As faculty advisor, I am truly proud of this collaboration with the IKEA team—especially Danielle Rowan, MBA, our valued partner in shaping the future of supply chain management through experiential learning opportunities. 👏 Huge thanks to Inter IKEA Group for opening the door to this collaboration and to our talented student researchers for their dedication, analytical skills, and innovative thinking throughout this journey. We look forward to broadening this program and creating more opportunities that bridge classroom learning with real-world impact. Here’s to the next generation of supply chain leaders making a difference for people, planet, and performance! 🌍💧📦 #SupplyChainManagement #WaterSecurity #Sustainability #RutgersNewark #IKEA #Collaboration #FutureLeaders #ExperientialLearning
