This summer, we're welcoming guests from around the world on board, and Innovasjon Norges Travel Barometer 2026 confirms why interest in Norway continues to grow. The report highlights strong demand from several of Norway's key markets, particularly among travellers aged 50 and above. We're seeing the same trend on board. Today's travellers are looking for more than spectacular scenery: they want authentic local experiences, culture, history and meaningful encounters with the people who call the Norwegian coast home. It's a trend we know well. Nature may be what brings people to Norway, but it's the experiences, the people and the coastal communities they encounter along the way that they remember long after they return home. That's why we believe the future of tourism is about more than welcoming more visitors. It's about creating lasting value for communities all along the Norwegian coast. šŸ“· Preben Nilsen, Hurtigruten
