Today, we’re pleased to announce the appointment of Graham Fryer to the Hume Bank Board, bringing deep expertise in finance, governance, and transformation. Graham joined the Geelong Bank Board in 2023 and served as the Chair of the Treasury Committee and a member of the Governance Committee. He was appointed Managing Director and CEO of Geelong Bank in July 2025, leading the organisation through its successful merger with Hume Bank. Graham is an experienced senior finance and operations executive specialising in business improvement, risk management and financial structuring across many industries including Banking and Finance, Higher Education, and Government. He has held CFO and COO roles in major corporations as well as Board and Committee appointments. Graham is a Chartered Accountant and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), and holds degrees and postgraduate qualifications in Economics, Management and Education. In addition to his Geelong connections, Graham grew up in Albury-Wodonga, attending Albury North High School (James Fallon High).
