At Hume Bank, we believe strong communities are built through connection, care and support for one another. That's why we're proud to once again support Winter Solstice 2026, an annual event delivered by Survivors of Suicide and Friends that encourages important conversations around mental health, suicide prevention and community wellbeing. Founded by Stuart and Annette Baker following the loss of their daughter Mary, Winter Solstice has grown into a meaningful community initiative that brings people together to reflect, share stories, honour loved ones and foster hope. This year's theme, A Gentle Look Back, To Look Forward, is a powerful reminder of the importance of reflection, connection and looking ahead with compassion. Our support helps ensure this event can remain free and accessible to the community, including through online streaming for those unable to attend in person.
