A delegation from the German U15, an association of fifteen leading universities from Germany, visited us on our Mount Scopus today to explore new paths for research cooperation 🤝🇩🇪🇮🇱. The visit included Dr. Jan Woepking, Managing Director of the German U15, Prof. Günter M. Ziegler, President of Freie Universität Berlin, and Prof. Dr. Enrico Schleiff, President of Goethe-Universität Frankfurt. During the visit, discussions focused on joint research, student exchange, and long-term institutional partnerships. "We very much value the leadership, partnership, and commitment of the U15 to maintain and enhance scientific relations between the fifteen German universities and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem," said Prof. Guy Harpaz, Vice President for International Affairs. "Strong universities grow stronger when they work across borders, and we will always cherish their support for us and for Israeli academia during these challenging times." 📸 From left to right: Ambassador Yossi Gal, Vice President for University Advancement and External Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem; Dr. Jan Wöpking, Managing Director of the German U15; Prof. Günter M.
