I’m excited to share that our work has been published in Advanced Science! 📄 https://lnkd.in/eiB-8844 In this study, we developed an optimized human precision-cut liver slice culture protocol that preserves tissue viability, liver-specific function, and multicellular architecture for up to five days. 💡The platform does not require specialized bioreactors or complex microfluidic systems. Instead, it uses readily accessible culture conditions, making long-term human liver tissue culture more practical and easier to adopt across research laboratories. We hope this platform will support broader applications in hepatotoxicity testing, disease modeling, and translational research.🔬🧪 A huge thanks to Prof. Salvatore Piscuoglio, PhD, EMBA, Dr. Mairene Coto Llerena, Prof. Charlotte Ng, all my co-authors, collaborators, and everyone who contributed to this project. This is an important milestone in my PhD journey. #AdvancedScience #LiverResearch #ExVivo #PrecisionCutLiverSlices #DrugDiscovery #TranslationalResearch
