1.60 meters that move millions of people every day. 🚌 What began in 1952 with a bellows for the first articulated bus built by #Henschel became the foundation for one of HÜBNER’s most important product areas: complete bus systems. As part of our 80th anniversary series, we look back at another important milestone: 74 years of innovation and development in articulated bus mobility. Known internally as the "1.60 Meter Bus", HÜBNER’s complete bus system combines articulation technology, bellows, energy guidance and articulation control into one integrated solution. Today, these systems are used by millions of passengers around the world every day. A milestone along the way was the introduction of the translucent bellows around 40 years ago. By bringing natural light into the gangway area, it transformed a traditionally dark space into a brighter and more welcoming part of the passenger journey. 💡 This innovation is the result of close collaboration across the HÜBNER Group, bringing together engineering expertise and decades of experience.
