CEO Drogheda & District Chamber
SHE has to be one of our greatest diplomats and one of Drogheda’s greatest treasures. Geraldine Byrne Nason, our ambassador to the United States, stands as a beacon of collaboration at its finest and in times to come will go down in history as truly a person that made a difference on the world stage. One of her latest feats was overseeing another chapter in Ireland- US relations, the opening of the new offices of the Irish Embassy in Washington, D.C. Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Simon Harris TD, did the needful by her side, another string to our bow as the Irish footprint - inspired by many from the Drogheda region - steps far and wide across the United States. Long may Geraldine Byrne Nason be an ambassador for Ireland, but of course, always remember, you can take the girl out of Drogheda, but you can’t take Drogheda out of the girl!Embassy of Ireland, USA Mark Owens, MBA Kevin Malecek Bryan Miles Shannon Miles TAYLOR CASWELL Jason U.
