An even better atmosphere than last year – which we didn’t think was possible! ✨ From June 11 to 12, the Congress on Self-Adhesive Labels took place for the sixth time. And of course, a great team from hubergroup Polska was also on site. Right at the heart of it all was Rafal Maliszewski, Global Product Manager Flexo UV at hubergroup Polska, who gave a presentation on the journey from the chemical design of the printing ink to stable and reproducible label printing. 🎤 We asked Rafal to summarise his impressions for those who were unable to attend the conference in person. Read on! 👇 How did this topic arise? 💬 “Following the Labelexpo in Barcelona, we had a valuable opportunity to introduce ourselves and our iray series to the narrow web business in Europe. I chose to present our UV flexo series from the ink manufacturer's perspective, addressing the challenges we face.” What were the key points of your presentation? 💬 “The main topics included a comparison of past requirements with modern regulatory standards, the supply of raw materials, and technological transformations over the last decade. I also discussed how, as a leading global printing ink manufacturer, hubergroup's strength and resources enable us to develop cutting-edge technology under the iray brand.” How would you sum up the event in a couple of words? 💬 “It was a family reunion for the printing industry. Networking with the industry’s top experts is always a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait for the 2027 edition!” We were delighted to receive such positive feedback from customers and other participants in the printing industry, had the chance to engage in many fascinating conversations with industry colleagues, and discovered the latest trends shaping our market.
