Last week, Youth Volunteer Corps of Hampton Roads volunteers spent their afternoon making a difference at the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank! The group jumped right into action at our Coliseum Mobile Food Pantry, helping distribute nutritious food to more than 200 households across our community. At the same time, other volunteers rolled up their sleeves for another project, building new picnic tables for Foodbank staff to enjoy at our facility. From supporting food distributions to tackling hands-on improvement projects, YVC continues to make a meaningful impact in our mission to help neighbors experiencing food insecurity across the Greater Virginia Peninsula.
