We were honored to welcome Lieutenant Governor Hashmi to the Foodbank yesterday. Alongside her team, she spent time learning more about food insecurity on the Peninsula, including a listening session with staff who serve our neighbors, a tour of the warehouse, and time volunteering. During her visit, our team shared insights on what they’re seeing across the communities we serve. These conversations are critical in helping leaders better understand both the challenges and opportunities in ensuring access to nutritious food.
