Oracle has cut 21,000 jobs in a single year, and AI is a key reason why. The tech giant's headcount dropped nearly 13% to 141,000 employees, with the company spending $1.8 billion on restructuring – including severance costs. Oracle has openly flagged that further workforce reductions tied to AI adoption are likely. But the risk cuts both ways.
