The European Commission has confirmed it: Right to Housing! Now and Forever is officially registered. This means every demand in the Right to Housing! Now and Forever ECI falls within the EU's legislative power: 🔑 A European Housing Agency. 🔑 Enforceable affordability standards. 🔑 The right to remain in your home through renovation. 🔑 Converting empty offices and vacant buildings into housing. 🔑 Regulating short-term rentals and penalising vacancy. 🔑 Stopping speculation and Golden Visa programmes from driving homes out of reach. 🔑 Creating a permanent EU housing fund so that public money serves people, not profit. These are not radical ideas, but rather, the rules that are missing to enable a fair, social, sustainable built environment. The buildings exist. The solutions exist. What has been absent is the political obligation to act.
