Europe is shaping its technological future. Once again, TECH by Handelsblatt 2026 proved to be one of the leading platforms for this important conversation. When 2,000 decision-makers from business, politics, academia, and technology gather in Heilbronn to discuss Europe’s challenges and future opportunities, it is TECH time. Over the course of three days, discussions focused on the topics that will define Europe’s competitiveness in the years ahead: digital infrastructure, the intelligent use of proprietary data, European AI capabilities, and the ability to accelerate the translation of innovation into real-world impact. As a partner, we were proud to be part of this important platform again in 2026. Our CEO, Helmut Ahr joined Cem Özdemir, Donya Amer, Bernhard Schölkopf, and Horst von Buttlar to discuss Europe’s role in the age of AI, technological sovereignty, and the collaboration required between industry, policymakers, and academia. At the Executive Bootcamp, our AI experts Dr. Matthias Emler and Gabriel Senftle demonstrated how organizations can build practical multi-agent systems to enable end-to-end process automation. The past three days made one thing clear: Europe can only capitalize on the next wave of AI if the region and its companies strengthen their technological sovereignty, translate their strengths into tangible business applications more quickly, and work together across sectors. A sincere thank you to the entire TECH by Handelsblatt team, as well as to all customers, partners, and fellow participants for the thoughtful conversations, new connections, and valuable perspectives throughout these three days.
