As we return from Memorial Day weekend, we want to take a moment to honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country. This Memorial Day, we were reminded that freedom was earned by real people with real families, real dreams, and real sacrifices. This photo shows Scott’s son, Michael, looking up at a grave marker at a U.S. military cemetery in Europe. This headstone, like many others, marks the resting place of an unknown service member. The inscription reads: “Here rests in honored glory a comrade in arms known but to God.” We honored those who never came home, including those whose names we may never know.
