Brute-force attacks remain one of the most common ways attackers gain unauthorized access to servers and business systems. Why? Because many organizations still rely on weak credentials, exposed login portals, and inadequate authentication controls. Reducing the risk starts with a layered security approach: • Enforce strong, unique passwords. • Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA). • Restrict access through firewall rules and IP whitelisting. • Configure rate limiting and account lockout policies. • Continuously monitor authentication attempts and security logs. Attackers don't need sophisticated exploits when basic security controls are missing. Strengthening authentication today can prevent a costly breach tomorrow. #CyberSecurity #ServerSecurity #BruteForce #MFA #NetworkSecurity #CyberDefense #InformationSecurity #HoplonInfosec
