HKPC Participated in Intelligent Manufacturing Kuala Lumpur to Share Insights on Sustainable Manufacturing Ecosystems and ASEAN Opportunities Intelligent Manufacturing Kuala Lumpur was successfully held on 13 May 2026 in #KualaLumpur, #Malaysia.🤗 The event brought together industry leaders, business representatives and technical experts from #smartmanufacturing, #advancedmanufacturing, #automation, #artificialintelligence and #robotics to exchange views on the future development direction of the #manufacturing industry.🌟 Mr Chuck Fung, General Manager of the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Division of the HKPC - Hong Kong Productivity Council, was invited as panel speaker, joining industry representatives from different regions to share insights and practical experiences. Mr Fung shared #HongKong’s experience in advancing #NewIndustrialisation. He pointed out that enterprises embarking on #upgrading and #transformation begin with #technology and #processassessments, identify production bottlenecks, strengthen data collection, quality analysis and launch small‑scale pilot projects. #Automation, #Industry4.0, #AI & #Robotics technologies can then be introduced in phases to progressively enhance their technical capabilities, productivity and long‑term competitiveness.🙌🏻💡 Mr Fung also introduced #HKPC’s “The Cradle - Go Global Service Centre” on site. Through the “6 Tactics to Go Global” framework, the Centre provides one‑stop support for technology and innovation enterprises from #HongKong and the Chinese Mainland, helping them expand into overseas markets. Since its launch, the Centre has received over 500 enquiries of interest and provided #goglobal services, including preliminary assessment, #smartmanufacturing, #testing and #certification, and on-site visits, for more than 300 projects. With the newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (#MoU) between #HKPC and the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM), both sides will further strengthen #exchange and #collaboration in advancing automation, Industrial 4.0 and AI & Robotics manufacturing ecosystems across Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and Malaysia, fostering cross‑border industrial #partnerships.
