It’s here: the fifth edition of the Hologic Global Women’s Health Index. This year’s data highlight a persistent global screening gap. An estimated 1.5 billion women did not receive a single preventive test for cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes or STIs in the past year, despite global screening rates rising. In partnership with Gallup, we surveyed 145,000 people across 144 countries and territories to understand the state of women’s health worldwide. Beyond screening, women continue to report high levels of worry, stress and daily pain. The numbers matter. But so do the lived experiences behind them. To better understand those stories, we reached out to women around the world who shared how health shapes their work, families, safety and futures. We heard that prevention cannot begin at the point of crisis. It needs to start with access and screenings. Better global health for women starts with data. It starts with listening. It starts here.
