Celebrating our 20+ year international education partnership with China’s Shandong Institute of Commerce and Technology (SICT). The two institutes signed an MOU committing to exploring new business opportunities. It’s always a pleasure to welcome SICT delegates, to discuss collaboration opportunities and experience campus life, including our Chadstone campus’s 🔵 Holmesglen Employment Centre 🔵 HVAC Centre of Excellence Since the partnership’s inception, we have supported SICT with the delivery of accounting and business programs. We have also worked together with SICT on new teacher training, curriculum development, and academic exchange initiatives. At a glance, our international education partnership with SICT has: 📚 Enabled more than 4,000 students to graduate from the two cooperative programs. 📚 Created study tour opportunities, where SICT students visit Holmesglen, to improve their English language and industry understanding. 📚 Supported 60+ SICT students to study an accounting/business administration degree at Holmesglen. 📚 Given Holmesglen business and early childhood education students the chance to experience SICT as part of an exchange program. 📚 Helped SICT teachers obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAFE qualification.
