Hollard has gone live with new family and domestic violence clauses in our Product Disclosure Statements (PDSs), enabling us to help protect victim survivors of family violence against the weaponisation of our insurance products. These changes form part of our pledge to the Respect and Protect campaign, spearheaded by Catherine Fitzpatrick, which calls on businesses to update their terms and conditions to help prevent financial products and services from being used for financial abuse. “We recognise that family violence is complicated, and can take many different forms, each with different impacts,” says Paul Fahey, Hollard CEO. “These changes make it clear that we do not tolerate the use of our products to cause harm, and that when customers purchase a product from us, they can expect us to respond in a way that supports victim survivors.”     Read more about the changes we’ve made here: https://lnkd.in/g22NX_9H Our thanks to Dr Ian Enright, Safe and Equal and Uniting Vic.Tas, as well as those with lived experiences, who helped inform the development of these changes.      #RespectandProtect #familyanddomesticviolence #supportingcustomers #together    Products issued by either The Hollard Insurance Company Pty Ltd or Hollard Insurance Partners Limited.
