Yesterday we proudly organized, as Holland House of Fruits, the very first Berry Forum Türkiye — held in beautiful Antalya. 🫐 🍓🇹🇷 With the invaluable support of the Agricultural Council of the Netherlands Embassy in Ankara, under the leadership of Niek Bosmans we brought together international speakers and experts who shared insights on where the real opportunities lie for the Turkish berry sector — grounded in facts, data, and best practices. As the largest producer of strawberries in Europe, Türkiye faces strong competition, but also great potential. The blueberry sector can hardly keep up with booming demand, promising attractive price levels for the near future. Meanwhile, new U.S. tariffs are already affecting international berry markets, yet Türkiye’s 🇹🇷economic growth outlook remains stronger than the global average — a very positive signal for the sector.
