Yesterday we joined the university fair at Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften Kempten –  and it was great connecting with all these young talents. Our connection with the university goes way beyond recruiting. We regularly exchange with students and lecturers, and even have our own HolidayCheck lecture hall on campus (more about that in another post soon). For us, it’s really about staying close, sharing experiences, and making careers in tourism and tech a bit more tangible early on. What stood out most was the curiosity and openness of the students. From first practical experience to working student roles or just figuring out what’s next – we had some really good, interesting conversations throughout the day. Also very nice: showing up from different perspectives. Lisa-Marie Schindele shared her journey from studying at Hochschule Kempten to working at HolidayCheck, Tina Bailo gave insights into our culture and opportunities, and Karlotta Puls talked about combining studies with hands-on experience.
