Why do we have a Pride month? To me, this in an opportunity to celebrate. Our differences. The progress we have made for LGBTQ+ communities in workplaces and society. To have workplaces like Uniper where people feel safe, respected and comfortable bringing their full selves to work. But Pride Month is also a reminder that inclusion is never guaranteed and progress is not irreversible. It is increasingly being questioned or politicized. I am proud to continue my role as Board Sponsor for Pride at Uniper. I see this less as a symbolic role and more as a commitment to listen, learn, stay engaged, take action when conversations become more difficult and help keep this topic visible throughout the entire year. I am very grateful to our wonderful Pride Community and colleagues across locations who continue to drive dialogue and connection. Thank you for your energy and commitment. One moment that stayed with me was a collaborative Pride artwork from colleagues last year. It was a simple but powerful reminder that identity at work is not one-dimensional. Pride does not end in June. Neither does our responsibility. Happy Pride Month. 🌈 #TheBeatingHeartOfEnergy #PrideMonth
