Little Things Matter My wife and I just celebrated our 15-year anniversary in New Orleans — enjoying incredible food full of flavor, spices, and soul. And somewhere between the beignets and the conversations, I realized something: The little things are what make all the difference. Just like spices transform a meal, small gestures transform relationships. ⭐ A kind word. ⭐ A handwritten note. ⭐ A sincere “thank you.” ⭐ An unexpected “I love you.” Over the years, those little moments added depth, warmth, and strength to our marriage. And the same is true in business. The organizations and leaders that create the greatest impact are often not the loudest or most impressive — they are the ones consistently practicing the small things well: ⭐ Genuine curiosity about others ⭐ Asking thoughtful questions ⭐ Listening carefully ⭐ Encouraging people sincerely ⭐ Recognizing effort Technology, AI, and strategy matter. But trust is built through how people experience us every day. And often, the simplest acts of kindness are the clearest way we can show the love of Jesus to others — through patience, encouragement, compassion, and genuine care in our daily interactions. In leadership and business, little things are rarely little. They are often the very things that build trust, loyalty, culture, and long-term success. At GEO-CGW, we believe sustainable growth starts with strong relationships — because operational excellence is ultimately built by people who feel valued. Just like in marriage, the strongest organizations are often built through small, consistent actions over time.
