It’s been the talk of the town since it was unveiled less than a fortnight ago - and now you can watch how Elysian Fields came to life on Jetty Road, Glenelg. A timelapse video has captured the transformation of the Telstra exchange building, the installation of the stems and then the 23 flowers, which were secured into place, one petal at a time, under the watchful guidance of Skunk Control creative director Nick Athanasiou and the creator of Elysian Fields. The installation marked the completion of the City zone renewal construction works, as part of the Transforming Jetty Road Glenelg project and was timed perfectly to mark the start of spring.
