Upgrading this section of the Pan American Highway to carry up to eight lanes was a massive undertaking in a mountainous region prone to extreme weather and earthquakes. Holcim is supplying integrated high-value building solutions from end-to-end, backed by strong on-the-ground expertise, to ensure the project is successful: • 25 low-carbon concrete mix designs • 254 000 m³ of ECOPact low-carbon concrete will be supplied • 60 000 m³ of demolished pavement used to make new concrete with ECOCycle • Cutting-edge slip-form paving machines to lay the new highway Above all, we're connecting a country and its people.
