More Queensland flights on the way ✈️ We’re pleased to see increased connectivity between Tasmania and Queensland, with Qantas adding 40,000 additional seats on the Hobart–Brisbane route. From 27 October 2026, services will increase to daily flights through to the April 2027 school holidays, followed by four return services per week through to August 2027. This expanded service, supported by the Tasmanian Government’s Aviation Attraction Fund in partnership with Qantas and Hobart Airport, will deliver more choice and flexibility for travellers while strengthening links between our two states. With Brisbane continuing to grow as a key domestic and international hub, these additional services will open up greater access for Tasmanians to Queensland and beyond, while making it easier for visitors to experience everything Tasmania has to offer.
