This week we’ve opened new departure gates and amenities at Hobart Airport, marking another step in our $200 million terminal upgrade. It’s the next stage in the largest transformation in our airport’s history, designed to double the size of the terminal and deliver more space, more choice and a better experience for the almost 3 million passengers who travel through each year. From next month, our current Departures area will temporarily close as construction continues. During this time, we’ll open additional interim gates and more seating, along with new and returning food and retail options. This staged approach means passengers will continue to see improvements as the project progresses, while we remain fully operational throughout construction.
