Ahead of opening Gates 8 and 9, we had the opportunity to welcome key stakeholder groups for a tour of the space and a preview of the upcoming changes to the terminal. Our City of Hobart volunteers, airport chaplains and Tasmanian disability organisations - through our Access Advisory Group - provide valuable insights into customer experience, accessibility and how we stay connected to our local community who travel often through the terminal. As we move into the next stage of development, which will have a more visible impact on travellers, these engagements are an important way to share information, answer questions and ensure we’re communicating clearly and effectively at key stages. As we double the size of the terminal, we’re creating new spaces for everyone to enjoy—shaped by the perspectives of the people who know our community best.
