🚨 Dodgy High Street Traders Beware! 🚨 This week, we made unannounced visits to souvenir shops across central London suspected of illegal activity, including money laundering, selling illicit tobacco, and more. Supported by the Metropolitan Police and Trading Standards, our teams checked shops selling royal family, London, and UK-themed gifts, including counterfeit magic and wizarding products. We’re cracking down on criminal activity on our high streets, including: ✅ The launch of a new 350-strong unit to tackle tax evasion among small businesses, including on the high street. ✅ Making more than 30,000 high street interventions this tax year. ✅ Carrying out UK-wide investigations targeting those behind high street harm.
