Oggi è la Giornata Mondiale dell'Ambiente. Per HME Brass Italy non è una ricorrenza simbolica. È il momento giusto per guardare i numeri e raccontare dove siamo arrivati — e dove stiamo andando. Produciamo semilavorati in ottone in uno dei settori industriali a più alta intensità energetica. Eppure il 99,8% dei nostri prodotti è fatto di materiale riciclato. Utilizziamo 4,38 GWh di energia solare, ricicliamo l'83,9% delle acque trattate internamente e negli ultimi 12 mesi gli infortuni sul lavoro sono diminuiti del 62%. Questi non sono obiettivi. Sono risultati già raggiunti — la base da cui parte il nostro Piano di Sostenibilità 2026–2030. Un piano con traguardi chiari: −40% di emissioni Scope 1 entro il 2030, azzeramento dello Scope 2, riduzione progressiva dello Scope 3 attraverso il coinvolgimento della filiera. Un percorso verso il Net Zero di Gruppo entro il 2050. Perché la sostenibilità nell'industria non si dichiara. Si misura — con i processi, gli investimenti e le persone che ci lavorano ogni giorno. Buona Giornata Mondiale dell'Ambiente. -------- Today is World Environment Day. For HME Brass Italy, this is not a symbolic occasion. It's the right moment to look at the numbers and share where we've come from — and where we're heading. We produce brass semi-finished products in one of the most energy-intensive industrial sectors. Yet 99.8% of our products are made from recycled material. We use 4.38 GWh of solar energy, recycle 83.9% of our treated water internally, and over the past 12 months workplace injuries have decreased by 62%. These are not targets. They are results already achieved — the foundation of our Sustainability Plan 2026–2030. A plan with clear milestones: −40% Scope 1 emissions by 2030, full elimination of Scope 2, progressive reduction of Scope 3 through supply chain engagement. A path toward Group Net Zero by 2050. Because sustainability in industry is not declared. It is measured — through processes, investments, and the people working on it every day.
