The InEExS LIFE EU project is approaching its finish line in February 2026. Within this multi-national sector coupling project Hiven Energy | Build smart energy apps was driving Business Case 4. At the Smartcity Expo in Barcelona, our Head of VPP Lars Herre presented the project findings and contributed to a panel on “Pioneering Urban Energy Efficiency and Innivative Solutions”, highlighting the role of flexibility markets (especially local flexibility markets like NODESmarket) and adequate regulation to unlock flexibility in urban areas. Big shoutout to Dragomir Tzanev for moderating the panel with Valentina Cabal Jaramillo, Juan Antonio Aranda,Jiří Karásek, Frans Verspeek, and Lars Herre.
