An update and a thank you from the Hiven team. After careful consideration, we are sharing that Hiven Energy | Build smart energy apps will be concluding its operations. Hiven was created by Fortum to explore how residential flexibility could contribute to a more sustainable energy system. Along the way, we had the privilege to work with inspiring customers, partners and peers across the energy ecosystem that allowed us to create proof points to monetize flexibility. We are proud of what was built and the learnings gained together. Your trust, openness, and willingness to experiment shaped Hiven into what it became. For that, we are deeply grateful. While Hiven as a standalone venture is coming to an end, this does not signal a step away from flexibility. Flexibility remains an important and evolving focus at Fortum. The work continues through other parts of Fortum, including solutions such as Fortum Optimizer, supporting enterprise customers with behind‑the‑meter optimisation and flexibility trading. In addition, Fortum continues to provide flexibility and electricity market services for large industrial customers and energy investors. New consumer flexibility products are also in development. 💙 Thank you for being part of the Hiven journey.
