Last week, Markus Heimbach, CEO, Business Unit High Voltage Products, and global management team visited the High Voltage Switchgear facility in Sevlievo to connect with local management and colleagues, review operations, and reinforce our focus on quality, innovation, and execution. In the gardens of the facility stands the very first high-voltage gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) in history, developed by Calor Emag in Ratingen and introduced at the Hanover fair in 1965 - Calor Emag was acquired into our business in 1973. It’s an industry milestone that continues to influence how we deliver and design high-voltage solutions today. This technology is a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come and of the origins it is built on. It highlights the people and the shared commitment behind decades of progress.
