🗣️ Excited to share our newly published paper in Allergy EAACI on the real-world performance of SPAT AI-assisted readout! This study evaluated 10 756 patients, 126 526 pricks, collected across 37 hospitals in 5 European countries, providing one of the largest real-world evaluations of AI-supported allergy diagnostics to date. Our findings show: ✅ Excellent agreement between AI-assisted and physician-verified wheal measurements (Pearson r = 0.96) ✅ Only 2.1% of AI misclassifications ✅ AI and physicians agreed more often than physicians agree with each other during skin prick test interpretation AI is not replacing clinical expertise—it is enhancing it. Acting as a reliable first reader, the AI-powered SPAT platform helps reduce operator variability, improve consistency, and increase efficiency, allowing clinicians to focus on cases where expert judgment adds the greatest value.
