❓ Often we get the question, what about darker skin tone, hairy arms, tattoos... In our newest publication in Rhinology we published on the performance of the SPAT AI-assisted readout in the presence of such real-world confounders. 🟢 High accuracy (>90%) was maintained regardless of hair, hyperpigmentation or scars 🟢 Darker skin tone and tattoos lowered accuracy but not below 85% These findings are encouraging, but the work continues. Stay tuned for the results of our evaluation of SPAT AI-assisted readout in a more diverse patient population.
