Sr. Jane Wakahiu was asked how Catholic sisters embody Pope Francis’ vision of the Church “as a field hospital after battle.” Her response was a powerful reminder of the dangerous, complex and deeply selfless work sisters carry out across the globe. As head of our Catholic Sisters initiative, Sr. Jane highlighted the extraordinary risks sisters take to protect and save the lives of others.
