Transition-age and former foster youth across California enter community college trying to balance full-time work, parenting, and affording their basic needs like food, housing and transportation—often without a stable support system.   Programs built specifically for foster youth, like the Foundation for California Community Colleges’ Student Ambassador Program, helps address those challenges. It gives select students stipends to serve as campus leaders connecting fellow students to critical resources and support.   Our new short film by Gabriel G. spotlights Student Ambassadors at Los Angeles City College (LACC). A special thank you to LACC President Dr. Amanuel Gebru, your team, and the Guardian Scholars program. #FosterCareMonth
