🌍 Decarbonization demands collaboration. We came together with leading players from across the built environment value chain, bringing together manufacturers, planners, contractors and technology providers at the 2026 WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable Development Annual Meeting in Montreux. Together with Schindler Group, we officially launched a new working group focused on early-stage mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) and equipment design optimization. Despite progress, construction remains one of the industries with the highest levels of CO2 emissions. Many of the most cost-effective decarbonization opportunities are defined before procurement even begins, yet too often without the right tools, data or shared approaches. WBCSD creates the ideal space where collaboration turns into scalable industry impact.
