With summer in full swing, vacationers are headed out to soak up the sun in stunning seaside resorts around the world. Hill International is proud to have helped our clients develop many of these world-class hospitality destinations over the past 50 years. In the Bahamas, Hill served as owner’s representative, project manager, and construction manager for MSC Cruises' redevelopment of Ocean Cay, a 93-acre island in the Bahamas. MSC Cruises reclaimed and restored Ocean Cay, originally created through dredging in the late 1960s for industrial sand mining, into a marine reserve and cruise destination. The island opened to cruise passengers in 2019. Hill supported procurement and helped deliver guest amenities along with critical port infrastructure, including a new cruise pier and dredged channel.
