Yesterday I visited Alexander Dennis in Scarborough together with project engineers Mark Postma and Martijn de Jong. The purpose of the visit was a sign-off of a door system in a new Alexander Dennis bus. It’s great to see how our long-standing collaboration continues and that Ventura Systems BV remains an integral part of the latest Alexander Dennis buses. The visit also gave me the opportunity to receive an extensive tour from Nathan Robson, Lead Engineer. Seeing how a bus is built step-by-step on the production line into a single or double-decker city bus was truly impressive. I would also like to thank Stefan Baguette for allowing me to share photos of these impressive new buses, destined for Go-Ahead London. Many thanks to Nathan for the warm welcome and guidance.
