I met my friend Candy Clark in 1973 when she was nominated for an Oscar for American Graffiti. Candy and I bonded over holograms and art. Donyale Luna was the first black supermodel. She wanted to introduce me to (Federico) Fellini in Rome, where she was living. She felt certain that Fellini would want to make “Revelation II” from my screenplay.
