Great to host our very first Data Science in Insurance Meetup last night at Milliman’s offices. We created this event alongside Milliman after recognising a real gap in the market. There simply weren’t enough spaces for data scientists in insurance to connect, and it was fantastic to start bringing this community together. A big thank you to our brilliant panel; Sam Worthington, Grace Hymas, FIA, Ahmed ALMubarak and Charlotte Halkett who shared perspectives on emerging trends, AI adoption and the evolving role of data science within insurance. A special mention also to Perry Jones from HFG for hosting the discussion. From conversations around cutting-edge technology to the importance of collaboration across the market, it’s clear that data science continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of insurance.
