High Capacity Optical Transmission Laboratory at TU/e is at CLEO 2026 in Charlotte, North Carolina US this week, with work on CV-QKD integration with classical channels, free-space optical communications, and burst mode coherent receivers for reconfigurable metro-access networks. š¹ JTU.108 | CV-QKD and WDM coexistence in full C-band. Simulations show 75 km and 23.6 Tb/s of classical data is feasible with the right power optimization. š¹ STH1J.3 | Remote digital holography to characterize the complex field in free-space optical channels, with the reference wave generated through optical injection locking. š¹ STH4F.2 | 200 Gb/s DP-16QAM bursts received in a 70 ns preamble after cascaded SOAs and 38.4 km of fiber. A step toward fast-reconfigurable metro-access. Big thanks to our collaborators at National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) and CUbIQ Technologies. If you're at CLEO this week, come find us at the sessions. Happy to talk through any of it. #CLEO2026 #Photonics #OpticalCommunications #CVQKD #FreeSpaceOptics
