The new hi-fi buyer confusion is not only “which DAC should I buy?” It is system architecture. We are seeing more buyer discussion around products and categories that come from different worlds: DACs, DSP boxes, active monitors, subwoofers, desktop systems, studio brands, Class D amplification, and room correction. That changes the buying question. The old path was simple: source → amplifier → speakers. The new path can be better, but it asks better questions: Do you need a DAC, or room correction? Do you need a bigger amplifier, or better sub integration? Do passive speakers still make sense, or would active monitors solve more problems? Do buyers want flexibility, or fewer boxes that work together? For brands and dealers, this matters because buyers are not only comparing products anymore. They are trying to understand what kind of system they are building. That is the kind of buyer signal we track at HiFi.fan. https://lnkd.in/eKN8CF_2 #HiFi #Audiophile #AudioGear #SystemBuilding #MarketIntelligence
