The Hamburg Lines Men play an important role in port operations. Their job is to safely secure arriving vessels at the quay, creating the conditions for our teams to begin loading and unloading containers efficiently and safely. 🙌 As an important partner for HHLA and the Port of Hamburg, they contribute to reliable processes throughout the logistics chain and help ensure that operations run smoothly every day. The profession of a linesman is almost as old as the great seaports themselves. Even in earlier times, ships arriving at the harbour had to be safely secured ashore.
