This week’s ARCHIVE SPOTLIGHT is a replica of a commemorative bronze medallion that was presented to Tom L. Johnson by Henry George’s son, Richard F. George at a dinner held in Johnson’s honor by The Manhattan Single Tax Club. Found by Henry George and several others in 1886, The Manhattan Single Tax Club was the oldest and one of the longest serving single tax organizations.
