🎉 Please welcome Steven Foote to the Halda team as Principal Software Engineer! Steven brings 15+ years of experience building scalable systems as a technical founder and staff software engineer. At LinkedIn, he spent 12 years driving impact at scale. He helped the Growth team build personalized experiences that materially increased recurring revenue. He built LinkedIn's design system library from the ground up and led a cross-functional initiative enabling codeless copy changes across the platform. He's also a named inventor on two LinkedIn patents. Before LinkedIn, Steven founded Resonance Systems, where he engineered a personalization platform from scratch. His background spans a BS and MS in Accountancy with a minor in Information Systems from BYU, plus early-career experience in audit at Ernst & Young. That mix of engineering depth and financial fluency shapes how he thinks about building efficient, scalable systems. Steven is also the author of Learning to Program, published by Pearson. The book he wished existed when he started coding. He's joining Halda to push the frontier of what AI-powered student engagement can do. We're lucky to have him!
