📣 Latest trends in employment and immigration – HEUKING in Helsinki   From June 25 to 27 our employment law experts Dr. Alexander Bork, Dr. Eva Kettner, LL.B., Torsten Gross, LL.M., and Laura Felicia Bokranz, LL.M., will represent HEUKING at the AIJA Annual Labour and Immigration Law Conference in Helsinki.   The conference is part of a triple-event series alongside the International Arbitration Conference and the Insolvency Conference – three commissions will jointly explore the intersections of labour law, arbitration, and insolvency law.   🗨 Laura will speak on the panel “Drawing the Line: Distinguishing Sickness from Disability.” (June 26, 12.00–13.00) The session will examine the distinction between illness and disability and its implications for employer obligations and inclusive workplace design – through a comparative legal analysis with colleagues from Switzerland, Argentina, Finland, and Brazil.   We look forward to this international exchange and hope to see you in Helsinki!
