We sat down with Danielle Flavell (Clarke), our Product Oversight Manager, who helps look after the super, retirement and insurance products our members rely on every day. Danielle found her way into super early in her career, drawn to the technical side of the industry and the challenge of translating it for members who just want to understand their choices and feel confident about them. Her role spans everything from writing and editing product disclosure statements to the monitoring and reporting that keeps HESTA’s products, services and features performing as they should. That focus on member outcomes is front and centre right now. From 1 July 2026, HESTA reduced insurance fees for all eligible members and rolled out broader enhancements, making it easier to apply for cover, shorter wait times for full cover, and waived fees for eligible members on paid parental leave. It's work Danielle and her team are proud of, especially at a time when the cost of everyday essentials keeps rising.
